Licensed requirements for Oklahoma:
 
Introduction to Systems:
 
Burglar,Residential Fire,Sales Trainee: Must take state exam & pass burg & residential fire you will need to submit state form(with fingerprints , pictures & check.)
Commercial Fire Trainee:Fill out & submitt state forms
Commercial Fire Sales:take & pass Nesa Codes & Standards class & pass state exam (fill out & submitt state forms)
Commercial Fire Tech:take & pass Nesa Electronics & Nesa Fire-installation & Wiring Codes class's & pass state exam (fill out & submitt state forms )
Access Control:Take & pass Nesa access control class & pass state
exam (fill out & submitt state forms)
CCTV : Take & pass Nesa cctv class & pass ,( fill out & submit state forms) & pass state exam
Manager licensed: Must be tech in the catagory you want to hold license in,have 8000 hours experience and pass state test(fill out & submitt state forms)

Introduction to Systems:Hours:16 Instructional  hours Friday-Saturday 8am- 5pm
4 hours Sunday for review and test 8am- 12pm
 
Target Audience-To prepare industry low voltage systems personnel to meet Oklahoma requirements for:
                Electronic Access Control,Burglar Alarm, CCTV, Fire Alarm and or Nurse Call

Special Note:
This class is now the only place where all of the basic cabling skills and introductory material are to be found. this will cut down on repetitive material in other classes.
Likewise the old Level 2 electronics is now part of this class,all sudents will be trained on series,parallel, and combinations circuits which will help to fill the gap that previously existed between Burglar and Fire alarm training.
 
Summary: - Introduction preparing for installation,tools,cable preparation and routing wiring basics,installing safety components,testing and troubleshooting documentation,basic electronics components (transformers,resistors,capacitors,etc) parts of a circuits measuring electricity(voltage,,current,resistance & power) OHMS law,conversions load calucations and voltage drop.
 
 
 
 
Oklahoma  Burglar & Residential Fire - Hours: 16 Instructional Hours Friday,Saturday , 8a-5p ,  Sunday, 4 hours for review and  test 8a- 1p.

Summary - The Oklahoma - Burglar & Residential Fire Alarm Course begins with several general topics including; overview of  the industry, ethics, building construction, safety, law, standards & codes, general electricity & electronics, microprocessors, and tools.  It continues to prepare you for system installations by covering; documentation (blueprints, etc), site survey, where to locate components, how to layout cabling, develop a job plan and organize work flow. Next we move to wire buildings including; securing the area ? drop cloths- safety cones, etc., pulling & securing the wire, roughing in device component locations and labeling wire and cable.Last we cover splicing and termination methods, steps for testing, troubleshooting and debugging, how to train users, as built documentation and maintenance & repair

Summary - The Oklahoma  Fire  Installation & Wiring Codes Course focuses on NFPA 72 and covers Fundamentals- Fire Signatures, Effects and Stages, Codes & Standards. AHJ, Fire Alarm Equipment Overview, Initiating Devices, Signal Transmission, Controls, Power, Notification Appliances, Signaling Systems, Annunciators, Ancillary Circuits- Interconnecting Special Systems, Fire Command Centers, False Alarm Reduction, Documentation and Approvals & Acceptance
 
**NOTE** CODES & STANDARDS HAS BEEN COMBINED WITH ELECTRONICS CLASS, BOTH FOR ONE PRICE!!
 
Oklahoma - Electronics-  Hours 8 Instructional Hours, 8am to 5 pm  Saturday
Test on Sunday 8am to 12p
 
  Target Audience - To allow the following personnel to meet Oklahoma training requirements:
 
Commercial Fire Alarm Company (All buildings)

Summary- The Oklahoma  Electronic Course covers parts to a circuit  (power source, conductors & load) types of circuits, measuring electricity (voltage, current, resistance & power), applying ohm's law, conversions, load calculations and voltage drop
 
 
Oklahoma Codes & Standards - Hours 8  Friday, 7 hours instructional,1 hour
test.  If available bring books with you ie:  IBC 03,    IFC 03,   LC 101 03,  NFPA101 Life Safety 2000
 
Target Audience - To allow the following personnel to meet Oklahoma training requirements:
 
Alarm Salesperson (Commercial )
 
Summary- Covers the applicable building codes for Oklahoma including; IBC- International Building Code, IFC- International Fire Code, IMC- International Mechanical code, IRC- International Residential Code and NFPA 101- Life Safety Code. 
 
*****Note ***--Access Control & CCTV have been combined for $ 275.00 take one or both for the same price*****
 
Oklahoma Access Control - 8 hours on Friday, 7 hours instructional, 1 hour test
 
   Target Audience - To allow the following personel to meet Oklahoma training requirements :
 
   All personel who need to be licensed to install, service  Access Control.
 
Summary- This course provides an introduction to electronic access control, basic
terminology, installation standards and building codes, rules and regulations, installation
techniques, basic design and documentation, devices , and basic operations. 
 
Closed Circuit Television ( CCTV ) - 8 hours on Saturday, 7 hours instructional, 1 hour test
 
    Target Audience - To allow the following personel to meet Oklahoma training requirements:
 
    All personel who need to be licensed to install, service CCTV .
