Introduction to Systems-This class is designed for newcomers to the
industry,providing valuable training in the laws,codes and standards,basic installation
techniques,electronics and basic math for electronics to enable them to be more productive and
to better prepare them for any of our other training.
Burglary-- Technician, residential fire,burg Sales:- covers basic alarm technology for installer or salesperson, limited fire alarm course
Electronics--covers parts to a circuit voltage,measuring electricity, volts,current,resistance & power,ohm's law.
Codes & Standards-Covers the applicable building codes for Oklahoma including; IBC- International Building Code, IFC- International Fire Code, IMC- International Mechanical code, IRC- International Residential Code and NFPA 101- Life Safety Code.
FIRE- covers Advanced Fire Protection Codes & Standards and Installation Methods
Closed Circuit Television-Friday
7 hours class room, 1hour exam
Access Control -Saturday
7 hours class room, 1 hour exam
~~ All classes start at 8:00am, ending at 5pm (lunch break 11:00am - 12:00pm)
~~ Breaks are every hour per NESA, Turn off your pagers, cell phones, etc. You will have 10 minutes on your breaks to take care of any calls.
~~ BE ON TIME OR YOU MIGHT NOT GET INTO CLASS. IT'S VERY DISRUPTIVE FOR SOMEONE TO COME IN LATE.
